ABSTRACT
The process of foam production involves the solidification of some chemicals under the influence of some catalyst, for example, the DMEA (an Amine catalyst) which aids in the acceleration of the reaction rate and high pressure. The core chemicals used in foam production are polyol, silicon oil, tuolene - 2, 4 — Disinate (TDI), stannous, air and '.'ate. The Tuolene — 2, 4 I.)isinaie and polyol are cooled to low temperatures and kept at very high pressure. The pouring and solidification of the foam is done by the manifold chamber via the mixer head. Pressure from the poiyoi pushes all other chemicals to the mixer head where all the chemicals are thoroughly blended. 'l'his mixture is poured into a chamber where it rises and thereafter solidifies to become hot solid foam on top of an impregnated paper as base and side papers. This process is repeated until the voluie or quantity of the chemicals cooled and mixed.
