ABSTRACT Thrift management system is a very important system in the society today, it really help individuals to have access to financial assistance in other to do anything they really wish to do but the rate of insecurity in it is becoming alarming, which discourage individuals from making use ofit in other save funds neither do they have financial assistance out ofthe fear of been frauded, this insecurity motivated me to work on this project. To build a system where each user will directly have access to his/her account personally and the security system was improved. The objective ofthis project is that the system will have a means to register all members ofthe cooperative society with their separate profile. It will provide each member with their password which they can use to log in and view their balance, we made use ofthe internationally accepted software engineering model, which is Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM). At the end ofthis project I was able to build an enhanced thrift management system where account can be created for a particular user and private login details is forwarded to the user ofthe account with authentication code that only the user can have access to operate his/her profile.
