Effect Of Credit Appraisal Techniques On Deposit Money Banks Earnings [A Case Study Of Oceanic Bank Plc (1997 — 2007)

ABSTRACT

This research work investigated the effect of credit appraisal techniques on Money Deposit Banks earnings. Effective Appraisal Techniques on the Lending portfolio requires an articulated credit policy which stipulates the bank's lending philosophy and objects modalities for their implementation, monitoring, appraisal and review. The materials gathered for this study has been presented in five chapters: chapter. one, deals on the introduction of the subject; chapter two, deals extensively on the review of related literature of credit appraisal. Chapter three was on the theoretical framework and methodology; chapter four deals on the presentation of data and analysis. The work is concluded in chapter five with the summary of findings, recommendations and conclusions.
