Effect Of Budget And Budgetary Control On Decision Making In Industries In Nigeria (A Case Study Of Tonimas Nigeria Ltd).

ABSTRACT

This research work was focused on investigation on the effect of budget and budgetary control on decision making in Nigerian industries. (A case study of Tonimas Nigeria Lid). Budgetary control is a quantitative expression of plane of action prepared in advance of period to which it relates. The organization is faced with the problem of lack of budgeting while planning and controlling their activities. The objective of the study is to determine f budgeting and budgetary control affect the quality of services delivery in Nigerian industries. The research also aims at determining f budgetary control contributes to effective decision making. Data were collected from primary source. Questionnaires were distributed to the staff of Tonimas Nigeria Ltd. The sample size was 50. We discovered among other things that budgeting and budgetary control affect the quality of service delivery in Nigerian industries, it was also revealed that budgeting and budgetary control contributes to the attainment of organizational goal. In line with the above, we recommend among other things that Tonimas Nigeria Ltd should improve their budget and budgetary control system in order to enhance high standard service delivery and achieve organizational goal.
