The presence of some toxicants such as nitrite, nitrate malondialdehyede and pH were determined in some fruit juices marketed in ubani market using acceptable chemical and biochemical methods. The results from this study show that the fruit juices analysed contains varying concentrations of Nitrate (174.20 to 456.00mg/l), Nitrite (I .037 to 6.229mg/I) and malondialdehyde content of the fruit juices-ranges from (9.50 to 97.10).The pH of the fruit juices which were also measured and shown to be( 2.41 to 3 .40) impling that the juices are acidic. The toxicological implications of this findings are discussed.
