ABSTRACT

 Electronic commerce is sharing business information, maintaining business relationships, and conducting business transactions by means of telecommunications networks. Traditional E-commerce conducted with the use of information technologies centring on Electronic Data Interchange over proprietary value-added networks is rapidly moving to the internet. This project work highlighted the importance of electronic commerce system which provides an easy, cheaper, convenient and reliable system of buying and selling. Because of the problems that are associated with the current method of business in Nigerian Bottling Company, Umuahia, customers have to travel to the depot with paper money which creates a lot of stress and insecurity to the customers and customers have no choice of time to purchase goods due to the specified period of selling goods in the depot, website was developed using macromedia dreamweaver as the program package, JavaScript for validation and Microsoft Access for database to enable customers purchase goods at their convenient time, provided that the person has access to the internet.
