ABSTRACT

This work aimed to determine the cyanogenic potential of cassava cultivar TMS 1089A, using the protocol- B method and also the activity of the partially purified enzyme which was extracted from the cassava dried leaves of the cassava cultivar with 268.092ppm, followed by the fresh peel (138.204ppm), fresh leaves (79.990ppm), fresh stem (43.560ppm), fresh pulp(29.700ppm), dried pulp (17.820ppm) and then the dried peel (5.148ppm) which has the lowest cyanide content.
