This work established that the meteorological factors (rainfall, relative humidity, sunshine and temperature) are significantly related to each other either directly or inverse in Umudike for the period 1990 to 1994. In the course of this project data on rainfall, relative humidity, sunshine and temperature from the meteorological unit of national Root Crop Research institute Umudike for the period 1990-1994 was used. The Chi-square test for normality was carried out on the various weather factors, which established that all except temperatures was not normally distributed. Bartlett's test for constant variance established that the variance of all except temperature may not be constant over the years. A test for linearity using scatter diagram shows that some of the factors are linearly related while others are not. Based on the findings, the relationship of the weather factors have been established for proper understanding
