ABSTRACT

The world as a whole and Nigeria, serious challenge with an increasing frequency offlood in recent years. It is therefore crucial to utilize the state-of-the-art sensing and activation technologies to monitor and detect flood occurrences. This project on Electronic Flood Control System with auto dry Dam open/close (EFCS) presents the possibility of using electronic components to produce a device which has the ability to control flood automatically. The system uses integrated circuit (IC). The system is composed offour major modules which are the sensor field module, control circuit module, pump activation and the suction pump module. The system when fully implemented will be robust and give a timely activation alert offlood detection
