ABSTARCT

The Bacteriological quality of eggs in egg rolls sold in Umuahia was investigated. Ten(1O) samples of egg rolls were bought from different vendors in five different locations (two from each); Isi Gate, MOUAU, Umudike Junction, Gate Six and Back of Administration Building. The" bacteria isolated were Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coil, Staphilicoccus epidermidis. The occurrence and percentage distribution of the isolated bacteria showed that Pseudomonas aeruginosa was the most occurring bacteria isolated with percentage distribution of 4(40%) followed by Escherichia coli 3(30%) and Staphylococcus epidermidis which also has 3(30%)
