Assessment Of Control Mechanism In Public Sector Auditing (Case Study Of Ministry Of Education, Umuahia, Abia State):- Idinye Osarumwense

ABSTRACT

The evaluation of this study is to examine specifically the system of audit control in the Ministry and to assist the accounting personnel towards implementing the audit control policies, to ensure that the staffers of the Ministry could be motivated to using the finding as guideline to effective financial control function. The formulated hypotheses are declarative statement that relate generally on variables to the other. To achieve the purpose of this research work, relevant material, journal, were consulted in other to gather secondary data and personal interview were made which serves as the primary data. The data collected were properly analyzed, for research question and chi-square was used to lest the hypotheses. Summary, recommendation and conclusion were made to the research question in other to guide and make proper assessment in public auditing
