Analysis Of Female Managers Leadership Style In Money Deposit Banks In Abia State, Nigeria

ABSTRACT
The study examines the efficiency of leadership styles exhibited by female managers in money deposit banks in Abia state Nigeria. The socio-economic characteristics of respondents were examined. The relationship between managerial skills of female managers and overall bank performance were measured. A total of 50 respondent were sampled and data collected and analyzed with use of questionnaires, descriptive statistics and correlation model. The findings showed that female managers possess the requisite leadership skill and mostly adopt democratic and bureaucratic style of leadership. Findings also indicated that there is a significant relationship between leadership skills and organizational performance. Based on the findings, it is recommended that bank employers should engage young and vibrate female in their workforce.
