ABSTRACT
Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common gynaecologic
complaints in young women. The use of Mallotus oppsitifotus and Rathia nitida
in abating dysmenorrhea WaS evaluated with alkaline phosphatase, cholesterol
and total PI0tC1t1 parameters. Results ShOWC(l alkaline phosphatase levels
in-grout) I to OSSCS mean values of 76.67±2.89, 103.33±7.64 and 58±6.51.
in-group Ii lobe 59.69±6.81, 54.33±12.90 and 38.67 ±0.58 and in-group Ill to
possess 67.67±2.52, 71.67±3.06 and 59.00±9.64. All falling into normal range.
The total protein mean values possessed higher values of 11.23±1.46, 9.27±0.65,
8.47±0.2 1 in group I, 9.43±0.68, 10.33±1.88, 9.27±0.12 in group 11, and 11.43
±1.59, 8.63±1 .22 with only one patient of normal range (8.20±1 .22) in-group
111. Total serum cholesterol mean values were all normal in al)out 8 patients;
286.67±30.55. 256.00±16.00. 302.67±32.39 in group 1. 282.00±20.00,
230.00±26.46, 270.00±10.00 in group 11 and in group ill one higher range of
