ABSTRACT

The  study  investigated    the  effect   of  inventory   Control    on      manufacturing Companies.   It was a case study of United  Wire  Products.   The study made use of primary   data that was  generated  through  the administration    of questionnaire    on workers   of the company.    The  data was  analysed  using  descriptive   statistic   and Ordinary  Least  squares  (OLS)  regressive   on    technique.   The  empirical   results show that  inventory   control   had  a positive     and significant    impact  on level   of raw materials,   finished   goods  and production   operation,   and also  a positive    but insignificant     impact   on   cost   of  production    and   sales    of  products.    it   was suggested  that  the  company  adopts  the  EOQ  model   revaluation   of the  current  inventory control    system   and   stronger linkage of the sales department to

operations of inventory  control  system.
