ABSTRACT

The study was conducted to determine the response of finisher broilers to diet supplemented with probiotics using 312 Arbor Acre broiler strain. The experimental design was Completely Randomize Designed with 13 treatment diets. Each of the experimental diet was replicated three times with eight birds per replicate. Two strains of probiotics were used at different levels of inclusion as 0.1 0'7o and o. I '7o singly in their various combinations. Parameters measured were performance, carcass characteristics and internal organs. Results showed that there were significant differences among the parameters measured (P<0.05) with broilers fed diet 4, diet 10 and I showing tile highest slgniticant mean tinal Ive weight value 01 II4&33 g, 1751.67 g and 1751.67 g. Broilers fed diet 11 had higher average weight gain with least feed conversion ratio while broilers fed diet 7 had significantly (P><0.05) higher dress percentage.
