Abstract
This research investigated the implementation of
entrepreneurial studies curricula at senior secondary school level for human
and economic growth and development towards sustainable peace and security.
This is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as
the Global Goals, which were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a
universal call of action to end poverty, achieve zero hunger, ensure quality
education in the 21st century, create jobs, ensure economic prosperity. sustainable
cities and communities respectively, among others so that by 2030 the world
will experience peace and prosperity. The implementation of entrepreneurial
studies curricula at senior secondary school level is central to achieving the
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Social Development Goals listed
above. This led to the Federal Ministry of Education through the National
Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) which developed 34 senior
secondary school trades/entrepreneurial curricula in 2009. The educational,
economic and societal implications of this research is that when all the tenets
of entrepreneurial studies curricula are effectively applieJ and utilized, it
will lead to the attainment of the goals and objectives of educating students
towards sustainable human and economic development leading to sustainable peace
