ABSTRACT

 This study is focused on impact of planning on the effectiveness of management decision (A study of P-Z cusson PLC). The objectives of this research is to identify the associated problems of planning and it's effective management decision making, to examine ways and strategies through which such problems could be solved to establish adequate relationship between management and planning in the organization. The problems that necessitated to this research are High Level of conflict in planning, poor planning control system, and high cost of operational planning. In gathering of relevant information, the researcher used both primary and secondary method involved the use of questionnaires, oral interview, personal observation and literature. In secondary method these involves the use of information gotten from text book, newspaper, journals, internet and economic publication. However analyzed using descriptive statistics table, the hypothesis is was test using chi-square method. The sample size was so and the population size is 100, the analysis of the above result shows that the T-value is significant. Hence the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternate accepted suggesting that conflict in planning has significant impact on the effective management if an organization. Based on the hypothesis after carefully reviewing the findings the researcher recommended that the company should try or adjust all the possible means to avert conflict that would hinder or discourage effective system in other management decision.
