ABSTRACT
Some medicinal plants and synthetic fungicides were
evaluated for the control of yam (Dioscorea rotundata) in storage. Seven rot —
causing organisms were isolated from samples of yam (D. rotundata) obtained
from three markets in Calabar (Akim, Marian and Watt). Of these, Botryodiplodia
