ABSTRACT
Kidney function status was evaluated in 45 malaria patients
and 40 normal Individuals. Serum concentration of creatinine increased with
increased level of malaria infestation. Serum urea concentration decreased with
increased level of parasitemia while serum sodium concentration decreased but
the decrease is not dependent on level of parasitemia.
