Effect Of Weak Internal Control Systems In The Management Of Small Scale Enterprises (A Case Study Of Selected Firms)
ABSTRACT
This study was on "effects of
weak internal control systems in the management of small scale enterprises both
primary and secondary data was used for the study. Primary data were collected
using questionnaire and scheduled interviews which secondary data were texts,
journal and other relevant reports and documents. From the result of the
analysis the research concluded that weak internal control system has a
significant • relationship with corporate fraud in small scale enterprises, the
researcher also discovered that -there is a relationship between weak internal
control system and operational efficiency in small scale enterprises. Data
collected were analyzed using chi-square.
