ABSTRACT
In many African and Asian countries herbal remedies play important roles in the health and nutrition of millions of people especially among those living in rural and semi urban areas where medical plants are readily available, easily affordable agriculturally acceptable. In most cases, people begin treatment using previously used or newly recommended herbal decoction before seeking medical assistance. Herbal remedies continue to provide' popular alternatives for men seeking to improve their sexual life as several plants are used their aphrodisiac properties (Tharakan ci al., 2006).
