Effect Of Dividend Policy On Performance Of Firms In Nigeria
ABSTRACT
The study tends to examine the dividend policy
on performance offirms, in assisting organizations in making sound and
effective policy. The major source ofdata to this research is secondary data
through the administration of Regression analysis, used for the data analysis.
The findings show that dividend policy is one of the most essential factor that
determines the success and failure of a company and the information gathered
both internally and externally contributes to the factors that influences an efficient
dividend policy. Management are recommended to adopt dividend policy as one of
the most important tools to be used for performance to ensure an all round
health oftheir company’s business.
