Three bee's honey with different colours were collected from different locations in Abia State, squeezed, filtered and subjected to various standard methods of analysis to determine the physicochemicals parameters, vitamins, minerals and some bioactive compounds present in bee's honey and compare them among themselves as well as the properties of the bee's honey. The proximate analysis shows percentage (%) moisture content for samples A,B and Care 16. 74, 15.83 and 15.90 respectively. Percentage (%) ash contents are 0.23, 0.19 and 0.25 respectively. Percentage (%) total titrable acid for bee's honey A (0.48), B (0.39} • and C (0.43). The pH values are A (4.72), B (4.72) and C (4.63). The content of vitamin A, C and E in (mg/l00g} of the bee's honey sample A are 0.84g, 0.85mg and 1.25mg respectively, bee's honey, sample B as 0.79g, 0.79mg and 1.30mg respectively and sample C as 0.84 g, 0.83mg and 1.23mg. The result of minerals evaluation in (mg/100g) shows (Na} to be 0.62, 0.63 and 0.59 for bee's honey A, B and C. respectively. K 18.82mg, 17.94mg and 18.74mg, Ca are 24.62mg, 17.94mg and 23.86mg for bee's honey samples A, B and C. Mg content are 0.93mg, 0.81mg and (0.91mg), Phosphorus are 2.52mg, 2.60mg and 2.45mg for samples A, B and C. The result of heavy metals in mg/l00g) shows lead (Pb) to be absence in sample A and C but minute in 8. Iron(Fe) A(0.35), B(0.29) and C(0.32). Mercury was absence in the three samples. Zinc (Zn) A(0.17), B(0.23) and C(0.19). The phytochemicals tested in percentage (%), flavonoid-0.16, 0.21 and 0.19. Alkaloid content is - 0.45, 0.39 and 0.43. Phenols contents are 0.08, 0.05, and 0.07 for sample A, Band C respectively. The intake of natural bee's honey as a food supplements, in production of foods, is beneficial as bee's honey contain nutrients for strong bones and teeth, antioxidant and also an alternative for sugar. Bee's also having its applications in cosmetic industries and medically in healing of wound.
