Appraisal Of The Impact Of Financial Report On Stock Market Prices (A Study Of Sterling Bank Plc)
ABSTRACT
This research work examined the "Appraisal of the
impact of financial report o stock market Prices (A study of Sterling Bank
Nigeria PLC). The study was intended to examine the relationship between
earnings per share (EPS), dividend per share (DPS) and profit after tax (PAT)
and the determine the external at which the stock market price of the firm.
From the analysis carried out it is revealed that these variables positively
affected the prices of stock market prices also the study reveal that there is
a very high relationshi'p between EPS, DPS, PA T and SMP. On this note,
investors are advised to put more interest in the financial report offirms so
as to make well infirmed investment decision.
