A. Rich) I larnis. I'he treatments consisted of ( t Jgwuckc 0 1 Isieke- 02, Item- 03., IJm-Fzechi- 0.1. Ozui tern- 05. Isi ato- 00 Ikwuano- 07, I.Jzual oil- 0t, Okporoenvi- 00 and Akacze- I 0) ihe cNpenmenl \\ aslaid out in randoriiizecl coniiIete block desiizn ( RCUI)) with fiir replicates. The results obtained froni the study indicated that die mean grain ield per hectare was signi fcant!v different at <:() 01 with Ozuitem and item cuitivars identiied among the treatments as liaeest yielder, while the poorest yielder were tiuwueke and I siato cultvars. Also, the result obtained froni leaf area, number of leaves, days from planting to flowering, number of flowers produced, pod length, day to pod maturity, number of pods, number of seeds per pod across die treatments were highly significantly different at P<0.0 I while vine length and I 00 seed weiht of the treatments were not significant at P<0.0 I.
