ABSTRACT

A design and implementation of web- based industrial information with copious system for Nigeria — The giant of Africa, a country glue resources and great opportunities; the fourth largest oil producmg cOUflt1Y in the world. The project was developed using hypertext mark- up Language (HTML), frames, animation, JavaScript' s, sounds and music's (multi-media). It is designed to be user-friendly and incorporated a user guide. The industrial information system on the Internet concentrates mainly on Agio- Based Resources and will attract potential investors both from within and outside, who will come to harness this opportunity. This project is divided into six chapters. Chapter one deals with the introduction of the project, the objective of the study, the justification of the project, the scope of the study, the block diagram overview of the project stages. Chapter two is the review of the relaled literature, Chapter three deals with the work methodology, practical system analysis and design, the home page, hyper linked pages, frames and applications, refining the user interface, the system and sub- system, top down design concept, system flow chart, data Based design and the data flow arrangement. Chapter four treats software design and implementation, browser-side and server-side software. Pardoning, Home page design and implementation, sub- system drivers and implementation of sub- system. Chapter five deals with system testing and integration, the test plan, the test data, expected versus actual test results and performance evaluation Finally, chapter six is the summary and conclusion.
