Screening And Short Listing Management System For Nigerian Professional Football League Clubs:- Nwadibla Confidence C
ABSTRACT
This
project explores the use of information technology within the talent
recruitment (Scouting) sector ofthe Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)
Clubs. Aqualitative exploration based on open discussions and interviews with
players and stakeholders ofthe study. The design of this system and its
management is undoubtedly significant in the aspect offootball development in
the nation because ofthe sensitive role it could play in advancing the
‘beautiful game’ that has contributed so much to the human culture and global
economy. The motive is to implement a system that is capable ofmanaging data to
improve the decision making ofthe existing system. Thus this project discusses
the need for a talent hunting website to help football clubs and prospective
athletes. The performance of the new system was evaluated in terms of
accessibility, speed, cost and capacity. This website was developed using HTML
and CSS for the front-end and PHP and Mysql forthe back-end. The method used is
spiral methodology and this is because it gives room for corrections as the
software was developed. In order to gain access to the site, one must register
first and then log in. Researches were done using the internet, interviews,
questionnaires etc.
