Impact Of Fiscal Policy On Manufacturing Sector Performance In Nigeria:- Adiele Mmeri W
ABSTRACT
This study
estimated the impact of manufacturing sector performance in Nigeria from 1981-
2017, using ordinary least square method (OLS) which founded that while
government expenditure and revenue had statistical insignificant effect on
manufacturing sector performance in Nigeria, budget deficit on the other hand
had a positive effect on manufacturing sector output growth thus demonstrating
the effectiveness of fiscal policy on the growth of manufacturing sector in
Nigeria. This study recommended that government budget should be structured and
implemented in such a way that it will significantly influence the rate of
growth of the manufacturing sector
