Banking industries have been considered as a vital tool to economic growth

of any nation. The mobilization of financial resources that will lead to the capital

formation, and also hds been identified as a crucial factor in activating rapid

economic growth in developing economies in which Nigeria is one.

Regulation in the financial institution especially banks have become an

important or first hing to achieve in banking in other to have a stable financial

system. This is because it has been prpving generally that an efficient fi.ancia1

system is a pre-requisite for the effective functioning of a action economy

(Anyanwu, 1997).

To bring about economic growth of the desired price, there is need for its

encouragement by the dedication funds on the part of the entrepreneurial class the

corporate bodies as well as the government viable. Economic policies should be

part to act as a catalyst in hastening the economic developing economies because it

hosts the nations income level, stabilizes foreign exchange earnings by diversified

exports, promotes import substitution,minimizes unemployment, minimize over
