ABSTRACT

 The influence o; frequency of water replacement on growth performance and survival of Clarias gariepinus fingerlings of mean weight: ±5.55g and length ±12.5cm was investigated in the laboratory ovcra period of 14 weeks (93 clays). there was 5 (Five) treatments namely: treatment A= daily replacement: of 15 liters water. Treatment B = replacement of water every three days, treatment C= total replacement every six days, treatment D = replacement: of water every day. Statistical analysis showed no significant diffcrencä (P>O.uS) with rspet to percentage weight gain and specific growth • rate o fingerlings.
