(40.00%) ol the respondents opine that their working experience ranges from 5- Oyears. (46.11%) ol the respondents opine that employee’s welfare affects employee’s productivity. (83.35%) ol the respondents reveals that the major factor affecting employee’s productivity is corruption. (95.00%) of the respondents opine that there is relationship between employee's welfare and employee's productivity, (83.33%) ofthe respondents agrees that their organization adopted welfare service by offering bonuses and incentives package. The slud) adopted simple ami multiple regression model and also correlation coefficient to analyze the staled hypotheses. I he empirical result shows that staff benefits scheme, management policy and welfare package have positive and insignificant effect on employee performance while organization size ind corruption both negative and insignificant effect on employees performance. Il was recommended that organizations most especially (ministry of commerce and industry I 'mtthin Abia Slate) to pay special attention to the number ofstaff in the ministry as many are included in pay roll but have not being seem there is need for government which are the sole owners of ministries to addressed the issue of ghost workers since funds meant for growth and dec elopmenl are paid to lazy and corrupts individuals who wants to ripe where they did not sow.
