ABSTRACT
Agriculture is crucial to both economic growth and
the production of food worldwide. However, many farmers still face a major
obstacle in getting the tools and machinery they need, especially small and
medium-sized farmers who cannot afford the high cost of equipment purchases.
The creation and deployment of a responsive website for the rental of
agricultural tools and machinery offers a way to close this gap and give
farmers on-demand, reasonably priced access to the equipment they need.
Creating a responsive, user-centered platform that links farmers looking for
temporary use with machinery owners willing to rent their equipment is the goal
of this project.The website has two main user interfaces: one for machine
owners to list, manage, and keep an eye on their assets, and another for
farmers to search, reserve, and review machinery. To ensure accessibility
across multiple devices, particularly mobile phones, which are frequently the
main source of internet access for farmers in rural areas, the website's front
end will employ responsive design principles. In addition to integrating secure
payment integration to streamline transactions, the system's back-end will
offer safe data storage and user administration. By fostering trust and
transparency, features like user authentication, booking management, and a
review system help to create a dependable platform for all users.The study used
a user-centered design methodology to create this website, emphasizing
security, usability, and simplicity. To enable a smooth and scalable
experience, technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a strong back-end
framework are chosen. System analysis, technology selection, and design
evaluation are all part of the research, which makes sure the platform can
securely and effectively manage the expected volume of users and
transactions.By offering a model for an online rental system designed
especially for agricultural purposes, this project fills a significant void in
rural and agricultural technology solutions and advances the field of digital
agriculture. The responsive website encourages resource optimization,
sustainable farming methods, and farmer economic empowerment by providing easy
and reasonably priced access to necessary equipment, which eventually supports
agricultural productivity and growth.
