University Management Information System for MOUAU:- Maduagwu, Joy A.

ABSTRACT

This project deals with the design and Implementation of University Management Information System in MOUAU.The main purpose of this University Management Information System (UMIS), is a management information system for education establishments to manage student data. In the current system all the activities are done manually. It is very time consuming and costly. Our University Management Information system deals with the various activities related to the students. For every colleges of their important task for people administration department is to manage student data information of the details in a the procedure oriented system manner with of latest inform updates for every year for which need to be available for easy access. In order to provide this service, we designed simple follow of the University Information Role Management System enter project which has various of modules which is helpful for the student administration to efficiently manage the student‟s details. Firstly, we discuss the necessity of a high level UMIS conception and its influence on the final UMIS quality. Secondly, we focus on the priority of computer data sources against the user interfaces, driven by a sound identification of natural user data sources which guarantees data quality in the sense of information uniqueness and actuality. The subject is strictly related to the correct definition of the main data collections by viewing their owners not only as clients of these resources but also responsible for their quality. Finally, a UMIS prototype is shortly presented, which has been developed based on that conception. This University Management Information System is used to store the University information easily, it also used to manipulate student information. By this student information management system, we can maintain the student data efficiently.
