ABSTRACT

One of the things that distinguishes a man from other animals is his ability to benefit from resources at his disposal. Providing comfortable and attractive place to live in is the aim of every Home maker. Oxford Advanced Learners dictionary 6th edition defines waste as materials that are no longer needed and are thrown away. Waste is materials which is thrown away or set aside as worthless. Wastes are in various forms namely, solid waste, which comprises all wastes which are neither waste water discharges nor atmospheric emissions. The entire concept of waste is subjected to value judgment of the primary owner or potential Consumer (www/epa vicya. Au/waste). Waste is viewed as a discarded material which has no consumer value to the person abandoning it. Waste Fabrics therefore, are fabric materials thrown away or set aside as worthless by tailors, seamstresses, textile industries and home makers.
