ABSTRACT
The Influence of Advertisement on Consumer Purchase of Beverages (A study of Unilever Nig. Plc) has been carefully xrayed by the researcher, the importance of advertisement, in the introductory part of this work. The researcher examined the role of advertisement, with the study objective of community information about the product, to identify products ând differentiate them from others. To increase product use, to build value, brand preference and loyalty. The researcher in research methodology adopted the use of questionnaire for the data collection, chi-square method for analysis; at the end the testing of hypothesis on the Influence of Advertising on Consumer Purchase (A study of Unilever Nig. Plc, Aba). Its findings is a significant relation between advertisement and consumer purchase. Finally the purchase of beverage does not depend on the volume of advertisement rather the quality of the beverages.
