Text Encryption Using Images:- Elugwu Ogechi J

ABSTRACT

This project work focused on text encryption using images. With the advent of internet technology, the number of unauthorized users to access the data increases, so the transmission of information through image becomes reliable form to transmit data. There are number ofalgorithms available to solve this problem. One ofthe efficient method is to use AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm, the most notable and extensively used cryptographic algorithm because it is six times faster than other methods. In the proposed analysis, an image encryption and decryption algorithm using AES in which encryption contains a random image and decryption contains original image. The efficiency of AES is compared using image and text, and it is analyzed. The result thus shows that the sharing of information through image is much more reliable and efficient than sharing information as text. Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM) were adopted in the analysis and the programming language used for the development of the proposed system are VISUAL STUDIO and MYSQL. The research concluded that successful implementation of this software would solved the problems encountered from the existing system and facilitated fast decision making
