ABSTRACT

 Information and communications technology is as old as man. This is informed by the fact since creation has continually created ways and means of communicating with his This study was carried out to investigate the effect of information and communication technology on organization performance using 7up bottling company as a use study. The study was conducted in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. The study was guided by hree specific objective and three null hypotheses respectively. The study adopted descriptive urvey research design, while the population of study was 450 respondents, it was not onvenient to the researcher to use the whole population, therefore 211 respondents were ampled using Taro Yamane formular. In order to gather data for the study 211 ueslioimaires was administered to the 211 respondents, the data collected was analysed sing Pearson correlation coefficient. The result ofthe analyses revealed that: Information nd communication technology has a positive and statistically relationship with organization ■nformance, information an-’ communication technology training and development has a ■jsilive but insignificant relationship with organization performance and information and nnmunicalicn technology service delivery has a positive and significant relationship with ■ganization performance. Based on the findings it was recommended that there is a need to msider the cost and benefits to the organization when planning for the integration of formation and communication technology in the operation system.
