Abstract
This paper reviews and makes clarifications on the concept of public relations (PR) generally. It presents PR practices in the libraries. It also highlights the roles educators and librarians should play in order to have effective educational and library/information services delivery. The involvement ofschool administrators and the reference librarians as public relations officers is emphasized. Public Relations ractice Checklist is fonhulated as a leeway for improved service delivery in the educational institutions and libraries. Conclusion and recommendations are based on the seeming negligence ofthe PR practices in the learning institutions. Keywords: Public relations, PR practices, Library services
