Patients Information System (A Case Study Of Nigeria Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna)

ABSTRACT

This project is aimed at developing software that will keep the records of Patients at the Nigeria Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna in alleviating some of the problem associated with the manual method. Patient Information system is a process of using computer system together with software to store information of patients, also solving patient problem such as health wise with the help of system diagnosis and doctor prescriptions. It handles all the departments that keep records of the hospital. With the development of patient Information System, large volume of data can be process at a very short time. It allows large storage of data at a very reasonable cost. Retrieval of any information is very easy therefore, records are easily accessed. The result of the output is always accurate and consistence, therefore it is more reliable.
