ABSTRACTThe traditional approach to health monitoring relied on manual tracking and periodic visits to healthcare providers, which were often inefficient and lacked real-time data for proactive health management with the rise of mobile technologies. This study aims to design and develop a mobile-based health and fitness monitoring system. Its objective is to design and Implement a platform that provides a long term engagement for the users. The methodology follows an Agile approach, involving iterative phases of planning, requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The result is a fully functional mobile platform that integrates wearables for real-time health monitoring, provides personalized feedback, and ensures secure data management. The study highlights the importance of user engagement and data security in the success of mobile health technologies, while also emphasizing the need for integration with healthcare systems for more effective health management. Recommendations for future research include examining the long-term effects of mobile health systems on health outcomes and cost-effectiveness, advancing personalized health recommendations, and addressing integration challenges to facilitate broader adoption and sustainability of mobile health technologies.
