Mobile Agriculture (M-Agric) In Livestock Production (A Case Study Of Mouau Cattle Rearers)

ABSTRACT

This system, mobile agriculture in livestock production is developed to take care of all the procedures involved in querying and disseminating information on computer system. Since most rural farmers do not use smart phones. This design will provide information on livestock breed and production, ensure that the different breeds of livestock are easily recorded, new breeds from artificial insemination, breeding seasons for different types of livestock and also irrelevant information on farmer's livestock will be easily accessible. This work will show the benefit derived from the new system over the existing system. It also create a working model of a mobile based application which can be queried by farmers based on the information they want by simply subscribing for the kind of information they want and also sending a text to a unique number and get a response with the necessary information which is simple to understand and interpret.
