ABSTRACT
Information is vital to humanity. It is one of the best aspects of fundamentals of human life. The term "information" is difficult to define precisely although its properties and effects are observed in all walks of life. Madden (2000), affirmed that one difficulty faced by students on many information management courses is the lack of any attempt to teach concepts of inf onnation. Information is a stored knowledge, news, or advice, whether communicated by others or obtained by personal study and investigation. It is any datum that reduces uncertainty about the state of any part of the world; intelligence, knowledge derived from reading, observation or instruction. Furthermore, information can be seen as an assemblage of data in comprehensive form capable of communication. This may range from content in any format-written or printed on paper. stored in electronic databases, collected on the Internet etc., to the personal knowledge of the staff of an organization.
