Introduction

Man's History of Animal Protein Intake

Biblically, man was created a vegetarian (Psalm 23: 1-2) and put in a garden (Eden). So ail he needed was fruits, vegetables (plants crops) and water provided by Rivers Pishon and Gihon (Genesis 2: 11-14). And God told man that He has provided all kinds of gram and all kinds of fruit for him to eat (Genesis 1:29). According to Genesis 2: 15-17 you may eat the fruit of any tree in the garden except the tree at the center (that gives knowledge of what is good and what is bad). What happened subsequently, my Reverend Fathers, Sisters, Brothers. Pastors and Evangelists will tell us better.

I strongly feel that it was when man discovered that he needed to eat something different from fruits and vegetables that his eyes opened to his nutritional needs. But man had no proper understanding at that material time what those other nutritional needs were. Man left the garden to discover fire, became a hunter and no longer a fruit gatherer alone.
