Knowledge- Based Medical Diagnostic System For Breast And Lung Cancer.

ABSTRACT

This project Research work is to provide the basic review and preview on the adequate use of- computer in the Design and Implementation of Knowledge. Based Medical Diagnostic System such as Breast and lung Cancer. The objective or aim of this work is to identify the procedures, processes, requirement, modus operandi and the task involved in installing an Artificial Intelligent and Expert System in the diagnosis of diseases in Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia and the necessary benefits to be derived from its installation. It is also aimed at designing a package which acts as an Expert Doctor to assist in his absence. Since Al is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines to automate tasks requiring intelligent behaviours like control, planning and scheduling the ability to answer Medical Diagnostic Questions, Handwriting, Natural Language Speech and Facial Recognition comes to play. In this project, the Expert 4' Program for Breast and Lung Cancer ARTINTEXPERT SOFTWARE, a consultant or specialist in Breast and Lung Cancer treatment. The relevant data for this project were collected through personal interview, internet research and the use of questionnaire. The programming language suitable for the accomplishment of this project is visual Basic 6.0.
