Abstract

 Researchers in carrying out their works need to review literature of works already done in the field. This is necessary to find out what has been done, understand problems that will confront them in the current works; areas that have not been researched into, etc. the large volume of researches already done makes it necessary that a way of solving the problem be found. A ready solution is found in the use of meta-analysis, which is a quantitative technique in which inductive statistics is used to assess the collective import of findings from all studies that investigated the same problem
