ABSTRACT

Nutritional problems in Nigeria are related to low purchasing power, and access to evidence-based nutrition-specific interventions can reduce undemutrition burden (Bhutta et al., 2013). Psychosocial stimulation is crucial for mental and psychomotor development, and the combination of nutritional intervention and psychosocial stimulation yields better results than either intervention alone (Warsito et al., 2012). Overall, proper complementary feeding and psychosocial stimulation are key to promoting healthy child growth and development.
