ABSTRACT

The major objective of this is to Assess the impact of computerized accounting system in the services industries, questionnaire were administered, using a sample size of 100 stafffrom each firm. The data were analyzed using Chi-square fomular. Method the findings were based on the analysis that revealed that the impact of computerised accounting system was neglected basically as a result of not having enough trained personnel to handle the operations of the computer. More so, that reasonable care and skill is required by the personnel in performance of their duties. The first chapter was introduction that talked about the background of the study, scope and limitations of the study and definition of term. In the second chapter, literature review of the objects of computer was looked into and some historical events of computer. Chapter three of this paper talked about the scope of the study, the selection of the study, the design of the study, sampling techniques, method of data collection and data analysis. Chapter four also x-ray the presentation and interpretation of research questions. Here the analysis of the research question are shown one after the other. The hypothesis were also tested using the chi-square formular method. In the fifth chapter which was the last chapter comes the summary of the findings, conclusion and recommendation. There was suggestion for further study of the problem with these, the researcher was able to come out to the transparency ofthe computerized accounting system in service industries.
