Impact Of Audited Financial Statement On Investment Decisions (A Study Of Some Selected Companies In Akwa Ibom State.)

ABSTRACT

This project work examines financial statements as an instrument for enhancing instrument portfolio. Data were soured through interviews questionnaires, textbooks, journal and other literature. The Chi-square statistical technique was adopted in testing the hypothesis. The study found out that one of ensuring that hypothesis. The study found out that one way of ensuring that managerial investment and decision are profitable is in measuring the cost benefit of such investment arid in attesting to the degree of stewardship arid accountability of top management. Independent auditors auditing firms financial statement should ensure that the financial data included in these statements have been prepared properly in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and  practice and audited financial statement are useful investment decisions for both individuals and companies. It finally recommends that more external users of these accounts in their decision making.
