ABSTRACT

Geographical Information System (GIS) is technology that offers significant advantages over conventional computer programs. In this project, GIS is used as a tool for decision making as regards what a tourist would want either HOTELS, LANDMARKS, or SITES. In this work, it is required to give conceived information system which can serve as the eyes and ears of planning regulations. The system design is very important in any system development. This involves specifying the processing, input and output formats, file structures program design and flowcharts. Then goes on effort taken to' a new system into use. And finally the design to achieve a generalized service control system for the Abia State Tourism Board.
