Factors Affecting The Performance Of Cooperative Societies In Abia State, Nigeria

ABSTRACT

This research is undertaken to elicit the factor affecting the performance of cooperatives societies in Abia state, Nigeria. Research is to be conducted on the types of cooperatives, their socio-economic characteristics, militating factors affecting their smooth performances and their importance to the study area. Chapter three of this work captured the area of the study sampling techniques, method of data collection which include questionnaires administered to some cooperative societies with interview conducted with some cooperators, the analytical tools used are descriptive analysis, gross marginal analysis and regression analysis. Chapter four of this work dealt on the analysis and interpretation of data realized from the questionnaires. Chapter five based on the empirical evidence from data analysis, results from the regression analysis. and the findings with recommendations.
